The Family Fun Day was a huge success! We raised a whopping £819.66 for playgroup funds and the day itself was great fun for all involved.
The bouncy castle and hook-a-duck were very popular with the children and the cake stall was very popular with everyone! The delicious food went down a treat as well.
The duck race on the river was highly entertaining. Watching the many coloured balls floating down stream had us all on the edge of our seats but there was a clear winner, number 64, and the prize went to Dot, a friend of Pauline’s.
The fantastic raffle prize of a night’s stay in a deluxe room at Ruthin Castle went to one of our parents – may they thoroughly enjoy their break!
Thank you to everyone who came and supported the day, to all the volunteers and especially to Laura and Richard for hosting the event. Now we start to look forward to our Halloween Party on October 29th. Watch this space for more details!
